CIP# 650790-100000
Inflow Redirection

The work completed by this project is part of the overall Blueprint Plan to minimize the sanitary sewer overflows (SSOs) in the City's sewer system.

This project will separate an existing combined sewer into dedicated storm and sanitary sewers on Noble Street between 4th Street and 5th Street.  This will eliminate one of the combined sewer overflows in the City.

This project is expected to begin in the spring of 2024 and be completed in the winter of 2025.

Affected property owners will receive door hangers notifying them when construction activities will be in their immediate area. Additional information is available upon request.

For additional information please contact the City’s Project Manager, William Glenn, at 614-645-2416 or wbglenn@columbus.gov.

The financing for this project is being provided by a below market-rate loan through the Ohio EPA’s Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF) Program.

The Ohio EPA has completed a Limited Environmental Review (LER) for this project. View the LER and the letter(PDF, 779KB) of "Notice of Issuance of a Limited Environmental Review and Finding of No Significant Impact.”
