Details: On Tuesday, October 28, 2014, at approximately 1:36 a.m., patrol officers were dispatched to West Town Street and South Yale Avenue, on the report of an unresponsive female lying in the street. Responding officers located the victim, Ms. Helen A. Shreve, in front of 1194 West Town Street. Ms. Shreve was transported by CFD Medic 10 to a local hospital, where it was discovered she had sustained a gunshot wound to the upper body. On Wednesday, October 29, 2014, at 8:48 p.m., Ms. Shreve was pronounced deceased at Mount Carmel West Hospital.

Details: On October 29, 2014, at 5:00 p.m. uniformed patrol officers were dispatched to 2480 Peekskill Drive on the report of a shooting. Upon the officer's arrival they discovered the victim, Roger W. Burke Jr., sitting in the drivers position of a white Nissan. Mr. Burke had been shot several times. He was subsequently transported to Grant Medical Center by personnel assigned to C.F.D. Medic 20 where he was pronounced dead at 5:38 p.m. by Doctor Hartwell.

Upon their arrival they discovered the victim, Russell Eugene Barlow Jr., laying in the rear of 1472 South Champion Avenue. Mr. Barlow was pronounced dead by personnel assigned to C.F.D. Medic 14 at 8:06 am.

Upon arriving at the scene officers found a male black with an apparent gunshot wound. Columbus Division of Fire medic personnel responded to the scene and pronounced the male black dead.
