Details: On Saturday January 28, 2017 at approximately 5:11 p.m., the Columbus Division of Police received a call and was requested to respond to a shooting at 229 S. Highland Ave. Upon arrival a few minutes later, the first responding officers encountered a male that had been shot. The suspect fired from outside of the residence and struck the victim. A CFD Medic checked the physical condition of the victim and he was pronounced dead at 5:19 p.m.

Details: On January 23, 2017, at approximately 9:31 p.m., Columbus Police officers were called to the rear of 3710 Eakin Road, on the report of an unidentified male attempting to light a rag on fire that was inserted inside the gas tank of a parked vehicle. Upon arrival, officers located the vehicle and found two (2) victims inside the vehicle, both unresponsive. The fire was not successful and the suspect had fled the scene prior to police arrival. CFD Engine 193 responded to the scene and pronounced both victims deceased at 9:41 p.m.

Details: On January 7, 2017 at approximately 9:15 p.m., the Columbus Division of Police received a call that a person was reported shot near 1251 Simpson Dr. After the first responding officers arrived, a victim was located in the street in front of 1251 Simpson Dr. The victim did not survive his injuries and was pronounced dead at 9:29 p.m. by the responding Columbus Division of Fire Medics.

Details: On January 5, 2017, at approximately 12:30 a.m., Columbus Police officers were called to 28 E. Northwood Avenue on the report of a shooting inside the residence. Upon arrival, officers located the victim, later identified as Tarek Andrew Underiner, unresponsive and suffering from several gunshot wounds. CFD Medic 13 responded to the scene and pronounced Mr. Underiner deceased at 12:41 a.m.
