Details: On Tuesday, November 28, 2023, at 9:43PM, Columbus Police Officers were called to the 900 block of Dressage Trace on a report of a shooting. On arrival, officers found an adult victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. CFD Medic 35 transported the victim to Mount Carmel East Hospital in critical condition where they were pronounced deceased at 10:13PM.

Details: On November 27, 2023, at approximately 6:39pm, victim #1 and three persons of interest were seen in the 1100 block of E. Weber Rd. The involved parties had a conversation and were seen leaving the area in different directions. At some point, shots were fired, which struck victim #1. Columbus Fire Medic 16 personnel arrived at the scene and pronounced victim #1 deceased at 6:45pm. Incident Address: 5400 [Block] Refugee Rd.
Details: On November 24, 2023, at approximately 9:55pm, Patrol officers were called to the 5400 block of Refugee Rd on the report of a disturbance. Prior to officers arrival, there were additional calls to 911 that a fight occurred and one of the combatants was no longer breathing. Truro Township medic M162 transported the victim to Mt. Carmel East Hospital where he was subsequently pronounced deceased at 10:52pm. On November 27, 2023, the Franklin County Coroner's office conducted an autopsy of the victim. Due to the victim's injuries, the Coroner has ruled this a Homicide. The other combatant has not been charged with a crime and is not being named at this time. The case will be investigated by the Homicide unit and ultimately referred to the Franklin County Prosecutor's office for review and any potential charges.

Details: On November 19, 2023, at approximately 4:37 PM, Columbus Police Patrol officers were dispatched to the 4800 block of Morse Road on the report of a shooting. Officers arrived at scene and found a female, Kandi Henderson, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. Mifflin Township Medic #133 personnel transported the victim to an area hospital for treatment. At 6:46 PM, Ms. Henderson was pronounced deceased. The suspect, Mr. Stephan Turner, was involved in a standoff with Columbus SWAT personnel but later surrendered without incident. Mr. Turner was subsequently charged with Murder.

Details: On November 10, 2023, at approximately 5:52pm, officers were dispatched to the 2800 block of Landon Dr on the report of a disturbance. As patrol officers were enroute to the call, it was upgraded to a shooting. When officers arrived at scene, they found the victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The officers rendered aid until Columbus Fire Medic 21 arrived and transported him to a local hospital. Despite receiving lifesaving medical care, the victim was pronounced deceased at 6:28pm. The suspect, who remained at scene, was charged with murder and slated at the Franklin County Jail.

Details: On November 10, 2023 at 5:02pm, Patrol officers were dispatched to I-670 Eastbound between the N.4th St and Cleveland Ave exits on the report of a shooting. Upon arrival officers located a victim suffering from an apparent gunshot wound. The victim was transported to Grant Hospital were he was subsequently pronounced deceased at 5:26pm This incident appears to be the result of road rage. The other vehicle involved fled the scene and has not been located. We are asking for the public's help in identifying and locating this vehicle. PHOTOS are attached to this release. Details: On November 9, 2023, at 8:49pm, Patrol Officers responded to the 800 block of Lilley on shots fired. Upon arrival, Officers located the victim, Marvita McCaskill F/B/63, in rear of Berkeley Rd suffering from a gunshot wound. Despite rendering medical aid, Ms. McCaskill succumbed to her injuries, and was pronounced deceased at 9:08pm by CFD Medic 15.
