The Department of Neighborhoods and Columbus City Council are pleased to share with you the opportunity to apply for grant funding to support your 2024 National Night Out event. This annual community-building event held on August 6, 2024, promotes neighborhood camaraderie and police-community partnerships to make our neighborhoods safer, and more caring places to live.
To apply for funding please use the following link to submit your application online: https://app.smartsheet.com/b/form/3c15215f88a54d93ab7fc2dd55cf16f6. Please note that a non-profit 501c3 organization must receive the grant.
Your application must include:
- A brief statement of interest: Your brief statement of interest should include estimated attendance and a summary of your plans for the event including any new or special activities.
- An itemized budget: Your itemized budget should list the items for which grant funding will cover. The maximum grant amount is $1,000.00. Please note, that receipts must be submitted and signed by two persons illustrating the purchases that were made.
- W-9 Form: The non-profit organization’s EIN number should be used.
The deadline to apply is Friday, May 24th at 5:00 p.m. Organizations will be notified by June 17th. At that time, those selected for funding will be given information on the next steps to receive payment.
