Linden Neighborhood Stormwater System Improvements Phase 2

This project (CIP# 610785-100000) will mitigate street and back yard flooding, and reduce roadside drainage problems at five defined locations(PDF, 149KB) (shaded in gray) within or near the City of Columbus North Linden Community. 

Project locations for stormwater improvements are:

Site 3 – Emerald Avenue / Eldridge Avenue

Site 4 – Framingham Circle

Site 5 – Ganson Drive / Coronet Drive

Site 6 – Walmar Drive 

Site 10 – Northridge

The project includes installing approximately 3,530 linear feet of 12-24 inch storm sewer pipe/bedding, manholes, catch basins, curb and gutter inlets, scour pool with rock channel protection and restoration. 

Pending final approval from OEPA, construction will start in late 2022/early 2023.

Financing for this project is being provided by a below-market rate loan obtained through the OEPA’s Water Pollution Control Loan Fund (WPCLF) and the debt is being serviced through the City of Columbus sanitary sewer user fees.
